The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians legalized its own marijuana market, making the tribe the only provider of medical or adult-use cannabis in North Carolina. The market that started out serving only tribal members with qualifying medical conditions has swiftly moved to adult-use and is now serving cannabis products to those over 21 years of age on the Qualla Boundary.
