Stephen Miles

In 2007, Steve co-founded - and is currently the Managing Partner of - Livingstone's US operations. In the US, Steve drives Livingstone's strategic growth initiatives, including business development, recruitment, and client relations. During his tenure, the firm has expanded into multiple countries and rapidly climbed the ranks to become one of the most active banks in the global middle-market.

Over the course of the last 25 years, Steve has guided clients through 100+ M&A transactions and capital raises across a variety of sectors. In 2020, Steve merged his experience in investment banking and interest in the cannabis sector to co-found Sharp Capital Advisors, a boutique advisory firm committed to providing best-in-class transaction advice and deal execution to the burgeoning cannabis sector.

Prior to Sharp and Livingstone, Steve was a Managing Director at M&A firm Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. and Lazard, where he honed his skills advising middle-market companies.

He is committed to using his platform to give back to the people and communities adversely impacted by the War on Drugs. To that end, Steve sits on the board for BUILD (Broader Urban Involvement & Leadership Development), one of Chicago's leading gang intervention, violence prevention, and youth development organizations, and has committed to donate a portion of Sharp’s annual profit to the nationally recognized organization.
